Rapidly expanding British SameDay courier CitySprint has completed its 21st acquisition with Bexley Couriers, a Dartford-based delivery company, following two other regional acquisitions earlier this year.
Found in 1988, Bexley Couriers provides local and national delivery services through its fleet ranging from motorcycles to transit vans. Through the acquisition, Bexley Couriers’ existing customers will benefit from CitySprint’s network of 3,000 couriers, which can reach 88% of the UK mainland population within one hour.
Bexley Couriers reassured customers that nothing will change for them as all the company’s couriers and staff will transfer to CitySprint thus ensuring service consistency for customers. The customer contact details for Bexley Couriers will remain the same including the phone numbers.

In July this year, CitySprint acquired local logistics operator CJ’s Logistics, based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, with its existing directors, operations department and couriers transferring to CitySprint to ensure seamless transition.
In April 2015, CitySprint acquired Crisis Courier Solutions Ltd., Northamptonshire’s leading courier service offering same day, next day, International and Specialist courier services, founded in 2004. “This move helps further consolidate our position as the leading private same day distribution company,” Gallagher said earlier.

It has a regional network of 40 service centres across the UK with a fleet of over 3,000 vehicles.
