Toll Express, part of Toll Group, has opened the doors on an A$20 million renovation of its depot at Perth Airport.
The upgrade is part of more than $80 million that Toll has spent on recent major property investments and upgrades to reinforce its industry leading capabilities in Western Australia.
Toll Express General Manager Larry O’Regan said the redevelopment has the dual benefit of increasing employee safety and increasing the efficiency of its operations for its customers. Some 20 vehicles can deliver freight at the same time, thus reducing waiting times.
“All of Toll’s facilities are designed with safety and customers first and foremost, and this site is no exception,” he said. “The service we’re able to offer our Western Australia customers improves even more by connecting this impressive new facility with our unmatched national freight network.”
O’Regan thanked project manager APP Corporation and builder Georgiou Group for their help in developing the facility. Toll employs more than 3,000 people in Western Australia across more than 50 sites.
