Special speed logistics provider time:matters has recorded a strong, double-digit revenue increase for the first half year of 2015, following the successful spin-out of its same-day and time-definite delivery service Liefery, in which Hermes Germany bought a minority stake earlier this month.

During the first six months of this year, time:matters posted a 13% revenue increase, continuing the double-digit growth of 10% in 2014, which was the strongest year in its history. The company does not release its absolute revenue figures.

In particular, time:matters' international business showed above-average growth with positive developments in the USA as well as in the Benelux countries and in Central and Eastern Europe significantly contributing to its success.

In addition, business with industry customers turned out as a sustainable growth driver for the company in the first half-year. Customers from automotive and aviation sectors especially showed a strong interest in industry solutions. In the field of life & health, time:matters also reported a significant revenue increase and won new international customers for its Medical On Board Service.

In May 2015, the company launched the booking portal “time:matters online”. The intelligent web platform covers the entire service portfolio for highly urgent same-day transports within Europe. It gives customers the possibility to book their same-day transports in a quick and easy way.

“The positive business development during the first half of 2015 confirms our strategic focus and momentum,” Franz-Joseph Miller, CEO of the time:matters group, said. “In addition to ongoing network expansion, we remain focused on the development of specific industry solutions as well as the further development of our integrated web-based transport platform.”
