TNT drivers Rungtaweechai Sonrod and Thawatchai Promnoi won first and second place, respectively, in the finals of the Scania Driver Competitions Thailand 2014/2015.
Another TNT driver was among the eight finalists in the event, which was held in Bangkok on 13 June. This year, fifteen hundred drivers from across the country competed for the top spot.
Rungtaweechai Sonrod has been driving for TNT for 4.5 years. Thawatchai Promnoi joined the company more recently and has 11 years' experience driving trucks.
The two winning drivers transport freight on TNT’s 7,650km-long Asia Road Network (ARN), which runs from Singapore to China via Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam, connecting 127 cities, including in the Pearl River Delta region. TNT’s fleet in the ARN consists exclusively of Scania trucks.
