TNT is enhancing its domestic express services in Germany by offering time-definite ‘12:00 Express’ as a standard service without any additional charge.
Until now customers could select ‘by 12.00’ as a service option but had to pay an additional charge for the time-definite delivery.
TNT Germany said that all existing customers paying standard rates and all new customers would immediately benefit from having ’12.00 Express’ as part of the standard service portfolio. Customers with individual rate agreements will be gradually transferred to the new arrangement by the end of this year.
“Our ‘before 12’ inclusive service is a further convincing product offering, especially for small and medium-sized companies,” said Willem Prinsen, CEO Germany. “We are therefore reinforcing our position as a reliable partner for this market segment.”
Many companies, for example, benefit from deliveries of spare parts that are guaranteed to be delivered by 12.00 on the next working day and which can already be used on that day.
TNT Germany offers 8:00 Express, 9:00 Express, 10:00 Express and 12:00 Express as its basic product portfolio for domestic deliveries on the next working day, together with diverse service options and individual solutions.
TNT said the ‘by 12.00 inclusive’ offer is part of a product offensive in Germany in response to customer needs. Other measures include free Germany-wide CO2-neutral delivery and extension of the ‘personal delivery’ option to the 10:00 Express and 9:00 Express products since the beginning of this year. Further product and service measures will follow in the coming weeks and months.
