Iceland Post, the Icelandic national postal operator, is set to launch a national network ofautomated parcel machines (APMs) under the ‘Póstbox’ brand using terminals supplied and installed
by InPost parent company, the Integer.pl Group.The terminals for receiving and sending parcels will be available in Iceland’s largest citiesbut also at petrol stations, offering Icelanders from smaller towns the same 24/7 deliveryconvenience. Integer.pl, which won the tender, did not say how many terminals would beinstalled.
The latest version of the Integer.pl supplied APM offers customers of Icelandic Post evenquicker collection with the use of QR codes. Thanks to advanced integration with mobile deviceapplications and CodeWise technology, collection times have fallen by more than half – from 15 to 7seconds.
