LetMeShip launches LetMeShip Solutions targeting larger customers

LetMeShip Solutions

LetMeShip, Germany’s major price comparison and booking platform for courier, express and parcel(CEP) services, has launched LetMeShip Solutions offering a shipping system for frequent dispatch

of shipments, which was made possible through a strategic partnership with SGS Griep MeerwinckGmbH.

As a provider of individual shipping software solutions, SGS developed the multi-carriershipping software System 5100 which has been integrated into LetMeShip Solutions. With thepartnership, LetMeShip and SGS have deepened their cooperation which started in 2013.

LetMeShip and System 5100 integrate any number of shipping providers in the overall processranging from order preparation and label printing to invoicing and reporting. New service providerscan be added on request. Shipments ranging from documents to pallets can be sent via LetMeShipSolutions, no matter the shipping mode, the destination, the transport provider or the IT systemconditions of the customers.

Designed for larger customers with more than 50 shipments a day, LetMeShip Solutions isbased on three modules that can be combined: LetMeShip Office Solution, LetMeShip WarehouseSolution and LetMeShip Cloud Solution.

The LetMeShip Office solution is ideal for companies with many branch offices by combiningall carriers and rates in one system. “Instead of searching numerous provider websites such as DHL,Hermes, DPD, GO! and others for the best rate, customers can find all the rates lodged in a clearbooking system,” explained Mark Winkelmann, LetMeShip managing director. Complaints, archiving andtracking can be managed for all providers from the LetMeShip system. Downstream services such asauditing, customer service and data for reporting and controlling are also organised and handled byLetMeShip.

The LetMeShip Warehouse Solution is a modular warehousing software that uses the establishedSYSTEM 5100 of partner SGS. This offers interfaces with the existing customer hardware and softwareand can be adjusted to existing processes. The integration of all CEP service providers in themulti-carrier software additionally contributes to greater flexibility.

The LetMeShip Cloud Solution makes it possible to integrate a shipping comparison per APIdirectly into the back end of an online shop. With the source code, e- retailers can search for theshipping costs of all providers and select the cheapest alternative thus saving costs. Anytransport providers can thus be connected to the online shop. The API can be integrated in allpopular shop systems such as Magento.

“Through a close partnership and bundling of our competences, customers can now profit forthe first time from a complete transport management solution for fully-automated shipping from onesource, no matter the shipping volume,” Winkelmann explained.

“Many companies use more than one service provider for their shipping needs. Thanks to themulti-carrier functionality, all shipping operations and invoices can be handled by one system,”Björn Sandkamp, CEO of SGS Griep Meerwinck GmbH, said. “This way, not only the shipping process issimplified but also the downstream processes, such as shipment and billing complaints – regardlessof whether companies have existing framework agreements with the service providers or use theLetMeShip conditions.”

LetMeShip Solutions was represented with a stand at the etailment Expo, an interactive tradefair attracting e-commerce, shipping and multi-channel companies, which took place at the TempelhofAirport in Berlin from 8-9 October.

LetMeShip is the trading name of ITA Shipping GmbH, a sister company of ITA Consulting GmbH,which operates CEP-Research.
