UPS has expanded the geographical coverage of its early morning deliveries from Asia to the USAas part of its Worldwide Express Plus service with the addition of more than 1,100 US postal codes
this year.The company claimed that its expanded service can reach many more US locations in the morningthan other carriers, highlighting its competitive advantage. During the third quarter of 2014alone, it added a total of 766 postal codes in the country served via UPS Worldwide ExpressPlus.

UPS Worldwide Express Plus is the earliest morning delivery service from UPS, guaranteeingdelivery to more than 87% of US businesses, available from more than 25 countries worldwide. InAsia Pacific, these countries include Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Macau,Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan and Vietnam.
UPS added that it serves more US postal codes and businesses by 8 am and 10:30 am than any othercarrier. Among the industries that rely on early morning deliveries are healthcare companies suchas pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers; professional service companies, like legal andfinancial firms that depend on urgent documents; manufacturers of parts that are needed for urgentrepairs; and high tech companies that need to repair mobile devices rapidly.
