Aramex has launched a new express service ‘Bullet Plus’ guaranteeing delivery by motorbikewithin 90 minutes throughout Dubai in response to the growing demand for urgent transportation in
the city.The company claimed that Bullet Plus is the first premium service of its kind in the United ArabEmirates. The service can be purchased starting at AED 33 (€6.65) which is a ‘very competitiverate’, according to Aramex.
Hussein Wehbe, General Manager of Aramex in the United Arab Emirates, said: “By introducing ‘Bullet Plus,’ we are providing new and innovative solutions to time sensitive requests ataffordable prices for businesses and individuals. Given our long history and deep local knowledgeof our markets across the Middle East and Dubai, we believe this service will be very popularamongst our clients and will play a key role in the continued growth of our domestic expressbusiness.”
He added: “Our domestic express business accounts for over 19% of Aramex’s total revenueglobally. Dubai’s GDP is growing at 4% annually and with business growth in the Emirates alsocontinuing to expand rapidly, we believe this is the perfect time to introduce this new expressservice.”
‘Bullet Plus’ parcels will only be transported by motorbike to ensure efficient and timelydelivery despite traffic congestion in the city. The service is available for all customers inDubai from 8am-6:30pm on a daily basis except Friday.
The shipment size should not exceed the measurements of 40cm in height and width and 50 cm indepth. In case it exceeds the weight and dimensions of a bike delivery, then additional fees willbe applied on a case to case basis, Aramex stated as part of its terms and conditions for theservice.
Customers can order Bullet Plus either by phone or on the internet via the service website www.bulletplus.aramex.com selecting delivery andpick-up locations. Payment can be made online through the company’s secure payment gateway, at anyAramex outlet or directly to the courier.
