DHL Express has opened its 40th service point in Thailand to expand its network and retailfootprint in the country. Located at Soi Thonglor in central Bangkok, the fully automated facility
is the second service point the company has opened in Bangkok in the last two months.Yasmin Aladad Khan, senior vice president for DHL Express South East Asia, said: “We remainoptimistic of the business potential in Thailand and plan to move ambitiously forward in ourpursuit to further expand our services throughout the country. We will continue to upgrade andexpand our physical infrastructure while continually providing our customers with convenience,accessibility and time-to-market capabilities.”
Chananyarak Phetcharat, managing director for DHL Express Thailand and Indochina, added: “SoiThonglor is a thriving business, residential, high-end shopping and diverse leisure hub for Thaisand expatriates alike. There is so much potential for this area to further grow into an even moremodern and upscale district.”
The opening of the 40th service point coincides with DHL’s 40th anniversary in Thailand, whichis being marked by a promotion campaign awarding customers who send four international shipments atDHL service points with limited edition 40th anniversary giveaways. The promotion is running until30th September.
Last month, DHL Express Thailand was among the country subsidiaries to receive the company’s ‘Best Employer’ award for the first time, along with Indonesia and Korea.
