P&T Luxembourg re-brands to POST Luxembourg

Postal operator P&T Luxembourg has rebranded to POST Luxembourg as part of upgrading itstechnology and telecommunication services.

P&T has been regrouping its fixed-line and mobile services since 2010 with the aim tooptimise the marketing of its services and provide customers with a new integrated offer. TheLUXGSM brand no longer reflected the range of services marketed with its three letters ‘GSM’, thepostal operator explained, citing the need for a new identity. The name and visual identity of POSTLuxembourg comprise the identity of the various services it offers.

Claude Strasser, Managing Director of P&T Luxembourg, explained: “This is not a simplerebranding exercise, but a root and branch review of all our business sectors. This procedureenabled us to draw up a coherent brand architecture for P&T and the Group. The new brandreflects the company’s ethos and the commitment to its customers. Our vocation and know-how aremade available to private customers and businesses in order to improve their daily lives. We wantto help them realise their projects by offering flexible and innovative communication solutions,while displaying a spirit of responsibility and respect to all. We therefore wish to build a brandwhich symbolises this special relationship.”

The colours of the new logo symbolise the integration of the two leading brands in terms ofproducts, notably P&T (the yellow and green) and LUXGSM (the blue). Visually dynamic, the logoalso symbolises diversity. The unclosed circle of the logo reflects openness, another source valueof our group.

As part of this new integrated brand, the company name LUXGSM S.A. will become POST Telecom S.A.as the commercial brand.

In order to differentiate between the different business sectors, the POST brand will cover POSTCourrier for postal services, POST Finance for postal financial services and POST Technologies forinfrastructure and technical platform management. The subsidiaries of the group will keep theirexisting brands and will be reinforced by the new POST brand, as POST Luxembourg Group.

The new identity will be implemented gradually across all communication supports as from autumn2013. In the meantime, P&T Luxembourg and LUXGSM names and logos will continue to be used.
