TNT Innight

TNT Innight has won a contract extension with Nissan under which TNT will continue to supplymore than 660 Nissan locations in Germany and the Czech Republic with time-critical spare parts for

another three years.

TNT will deliver parts to Nissan locations from its European Hub in Amsterdam. From Mondaythrough Friday, TNT Innight vehicles will start their trips to guarantee timely delivery ofengines, windscreens, mudguards and other urgently needed parts to Nissan dealers by the morning ofthe next working day. Some 3,000 such parts are delivered daily for Nissan, who provides TNTInnight with keys to the dealers’ workshops or receives deliveries in lockable safes at thelocations before the working day starts.

TNT Innight also handles returns for Nissan, who uses TNT’s online returns system, allowingNissan to enter returns as well as prepare and print returns labels through using an address andreturns database. Returns will then be picked up at the respective location at the time of the nextdelivery or three days after the pickup request.

“The online returns system was developed together with Nissan several years ago,” commentedSteffen Beuerle, European Key Account Manager Automotive at TNT Innight. “Since then we haveintroduced numerous enhancements which yield direct benefits for our customers.” These enhancementsinclude a tracking functionality for the often costly returns as well as sorting directions printedon the label for quick and easy mapping of shipments to their origin.

TNT Innight has provided night delivery services for Nissan for the past 18 years.
