Irish parcels carrier Nightline has announced a partnership between its parcel terminal network‘Parcel Motel’ and the online retail arm of the telecommunications firm O2.
Through the partnership, O2 will offer its Irish internet customers free delivery of goodsto their local parcel terminal. This follows O2’s previous offer of free home deliveries as O2believes that Parcel Motel is an even more convenient delivery solution for consumers.
Brendan Moran, Head of Direct Channels at Telefónica Ireland, which operates the O2 brand,said: “Our partnership with Nightline Parcel Motel offers a convenient, new delivery option forcustomers making purchases online. It is a great service, which has already proven to be popularwith our customers. As more and more people choose to buy online and avail of the great offers thatwe have available on our online shop, we expect the appeal of this service to grow.”

Since the launch of its Parcel Motel terminals last summer, Nightline has extended theirpresence to all 26 counties in Ireland and has seen tens of thousands of subscriptions to theservice. By the end of next year, the company expects a total of 400 Parcel Motels to beoperational.
