Canada Post has added epost, its digital mailbox service, to its mobile app which it claims isthe most downloaded free mobile business app in the country.

Canada Post’s app already helps users track parcels, find the closest postal outlet, postagerate or postal code. With epost offering customers bill management, simplified online banking and apersonal safety deposit box, the upgraded app provides more convenience and a complete range ofservices of the postal operator.

According to the postal operator, epost is the largest bill consolidation solution in Canada.With over 7.7 million Canadians having registered with epost, and over 100 participatingbusinesses, epost has a robust, safe and secure foundation that allows Canada Post to enhance thescope of services available in the future.

“For busy Canadians, saving time, money and staying organised when it comes to managing yourhousehold is important,” Kerry Munro, Group President of the Digital Delivery Network, said. “Thereare many tools out there, but none have the convenience and security that epost does. It aggregatesyour household bills into one place, which means you only need one username and password toefficiently take care of your finances.”

Epost offers customers one place, one login, one password to manage their household bills andessential documents. Fully integrated with their bank, epost makes it easier than before forconsumers to consolidate and pay their bills. It also provides a top-level security to protectcustomers’ accounts and personal information. Documents are encrypted and stored with bank-gradesecurity while reminders help avoid late fees. It also stores all bills and statements for up toseven years. Files can thus be accessed within a few minutes instead of going through years ofcluttered file folders.
