DHL has extended its top partnership agreement with Japanese football team Urawa Red Diamonds(Urawa Reds) for two more years.
The Saitama-based J-League soccer team will again display the DHL corporate logo on theiruniform shorts for regular league matches and on the back of their training kit, as well as inSaitama Stadium, the Urawa Reds’ home playing field.
The top partnership agreement has been in place since February 2007, when DHL sponsored theUrawa Reds’ initial foray into the AFC Championship League (ACL), where they became the firstJapanese team to win the championship. The partnership evolved in February 2009 to support regulardomestic J-League matches.
