World Courier further expands global network with new office in Austria

Medical logistics specialist World Courier is continuing to expand its international networkwith its third office in Austria bringing its global network to 152 offices in total.

The new office is located in Innsbruck, western Austria, which is a hub for pharmaceutical andhigh-tech companies. The office is strategically located some 180 kilometres from Munich, southernGermany, which is considered a major European gateway.

The facility is fully equipped with a +5°C walk-in refrigerator cell to handle large containersof temperature-controlled pharmaceuticals. The office also maintains four -26°C freezers, a +20°Ccontrolled ambient area and a warehouse able to accommodate all types of dangerous goods exceptClass 1 (explosives) and Class 7 (radioactive materials) with specialised staff and vehicles.
