DHL Express has expanded its network of Servicepoints in Singapore from the initial 12 to 110within the last three years offering local SMEs an efficient way of shipping to international
markets.Since 2009, DHL has been working in partnership with convenience store chains FairPriceXpress and Cheers, which belong to the Singaporean grocery retailer NTUC FairPrice. TheServicepoints within strategically located branches across the country allow walk-in and accountcustomers to deposit outbound international documents and parcels.

This network of Servicepoints underscores DHL’s commitment to provideaccessibility and convenience to SME and retail customers,” said Yasmin Aladad Khan, Senior VicePresident, DHL Express Southeast Asia.
Especially over the last decade, local SMEs in Singapore have showed an increasing interestto export and internationalise in the country’s pro-export environment. With strong growthpotential expected especially in Southeast Asia (SEA), China and the emerging markets, Singaporeancompanies plan to expand into these regions within the next 12 to 18 months, with 60 per cent and45 per cent of SMEs keen on the SEA and China markets respectively.

With its affordable and simplified packaging range, DHL Express Easy is available at allCheers outlets and targets in particular walk-in customers and SMEs who want to send packages inthe fastest and simplest way. Ranging from a 500g envelope to a 25kg box, the packaging isenvironmentally-friendly, made from recycled material supporting DHL’s environmental protectioninitiative GoGreen.
