Fashion brand uses CollectPlus outlets for free returns

British fashion retailer Fenn Wright Manson has teamed up with fast-growing parcel outletcompany CollectPlus to offer free returns ready for the Christmas peak season.

The well-known women’s wear brand is now offering customers the option of returning purchaseswithout charge through their local convenience store. Shoppers will be able to drop off parcels atone of the 5,000 stores and petrol stations in the CollectPlus network and also track the returnparcels. Fenn Wright Manson, founded in 1974, sells its designs at stores located across the UK andin Ireland as well as online.

CollectPlus, jointly owned by payment company PayPoint and parcels operator Yodel, recentlypassed a milestone by delivering its 10 millionth parcel since its foundation in 2009. In the firsthalf of 2012 the company more than doubled parcel volumes to 3.3 million and increased revenues by170% to £3.7 million. It expects to handle about seven million parcels this year in total.

The parcel outlets operator offers three core services, covering a parcel collection service foronline retailers, a general returns service and a service enabling consumers to send parcels. Thenetwork includes convenience stores, supermarkets, garage forecourts and shopping centres, and over85% of British urban residents live within a mile of a CollectPlus shop, according to thecompany.

Lewis explained: “CollectPlus’ growth continues at a strong rate as more shoppers and retailerstake advantage of the convenience and flexibility of our business and products. OurClick&CollectPlus+, which allows consumers to pick up goods bought online at a time that bestsuits them, has proved very popular. When combined with our other services, it is clear we havecreated a series of products that reflect the needs of the UK consumer today.”
