CollectPlus is putting Clarks’ shoes within walking distance for UK online shoppers with a newcontract offering easy collections and returns through its network of 5,000 parcel shops across the
country.Under the deal, Clarks will become the first footwear-focused brand to offer theClick&CollectPlus service to consumers. Customers who do not live close to one of Clarks’ 400+shops will be able to collect their new shoes from one of the company’s retail outlets and alsoreturn them there if necessary.
With 5,000 stores and petrol stations in CollectPlus’ network, all of which open early untillate and often seven days a week, recipients can incorporate the collection of their new shoes intotheir everyday journey. After the latest network expansion, 87% of the UK’s online shoppers are nowlocated within a mile of a CollectPlus store in urban areas and 88% within five miles in rurallocations. Also, CollectPlus’ service enables customers to track their parcels and allows Clarks toeasily quantify regional uptake and consumer demand.

Yodel and PayPoint joint venture CollectPlus transports some 7 million parcels per year and therecent addition of the 5,000th store marks a rapid rate of expansion as the company started withjust a handful of stores three years ago.
