DHL wins express operator award in Asia

DHL has won the Express Operator of the Year award at the Payload Asia Awards 2012 held earlierthis month.



Based on a vote of the readers of Payload Asia magazine and a panel of experts, DHL washonoured with the award for its express and logistics solutions at a ceremony held in Singapore.

The Express Operator of the Year award takes into account customer growth and developmentstrategy, operational performance in 2011, as well as customer service and product innovations. DHLsaid the award win acknowledges its achievements in key fields such as service excellence,extensive network, quality management and customised logistics solutions.

“It is a great honour to receive this award as it reflects the confidence our customers havein our products and services and the value-add we provide to their business,” said Jerry Hsu, CEO,DHL Express Asia Pacific. “At DHL, we see our role as facilitators of trade and will continue towork with our customers to ensure that they continue to receive the seamless and exceptionalservice that they have come to expect of us.”

DHL said this latest accolade adds to numerous awards received in 2012, including BestExpress Operator, Best Logistics Service Provider – Air Freight and Best 3PL at the 2012 AsianFreight & Supply Chain Awards (AFSCA), and the Gold Award in the “Airfreight/Courier Service”category at the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Awards 2012 in Asia.
