FedEx Express has improved cut-off times for outbound shipments from Thailand to major Europeandestinations giving customers in selected areas more time to prepare their shipments.
Customers in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand, will now be able to profit from a cut-off timeextension of 5 hours from 11 am to 4 pm. The province Lamphun, also located in the north of thecountry, has got a four-hour extension from 11 am to 3pm, and Laemchabang area – one hour from 4 pmto 5 pm. Customers from Lamphun and Laemchabang who are based in the Export Processing Zone (EPZ),must submit their paperwork to FedEx by 15:00 and 18:00 respectively, the company said.
This latest cut-off time improvement follows the recent improvement in the Bangkok area forshipments to Europe with cut-off times extended from 5pm to 7 pm.

In addition to the extended cut-off times, FedEx Express hired new employees to provide betterservice and an improved pick-up time for shipments from Bangkok to destinations in Europe, LatinAmerica, the U.S. and Canada. The number was not disclosed.
