FedEx expands mobile applications with more countries and devices

FedEx Express has expanded its mobile applications to more countries with a range of new toolsto make “shipping-on-the-go” easier for customers by providing them more convenience.

To respond to changing shipping needs of customers across the globe, the FedEx Mobile websitehas been extended to 206 countries and 25 languages and is now available in 30 markets in the AsiaPacific region.

Until now, the company’s mobile solutions have been available for the iPhone, iPod touch andBlackBerry smartphones. Under the expansion, iPad and Android users can now also access theapplication.

FedEx Mobile is now available for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch from the App Store in 118countries and 11 languages. 

For Android users, it is available in Android Market, and is offered in English in 120countries. Additional countries and languages for Android users will be added in the comingmonths.

FedEx Mobile is also available for BlackBerry smartphones on BlackBerry App World in 139countries.

With the new FedEx smartphone solutions and expansions, customers can obtain rates, track thestatus of their shipments, schedule a pick up by entering address and shipment information and findthe nearest FedEx station, drop-box, FedEx Authorised ShipCentre or FedEx World Service Centre.
