UK Mail has extended its online parcel delivery service ipostparcels.com with a new featureaiming to make parcel shipping more convenient for customers.
The ‘Bring me Labels’ feature eliminates the need for customers to print out the shipping labelthemselves from the service website after placing on order, as drivers can deliver the filled labelto customers’ doorsteps at the same time as collecting their parcel. The new service costs anadditional surcharge of £0.49 (€0.63) per parcel and makes processes more efficient for UK Mail’scustomer base, the company claimed.
UK Mail CEO Guy Buswell said: “We want to give customers an alternative to the traditionalmethods of sending a parcel and making it really easy for the customer by bringing everything theyneed to them. We aim to provide some of the best-priced parcel delivery services on the UK market.The new ‘Bring me Labels’ service enhances our flexibility and offering, which we hope customerswill take advantage of.”
UK Mail said its ipostparcels.com product provided a user-friendly service allowing customers touse its booking form without having to queue at a post office. Parcels are collected the next day,with the delivery taking place at a time and location suitable for customers. Parcels can bedropped off at one of 50 ipostparcels.com depots across the UK.
