DPD has secured a valuable contract extension in Austria with Würth Group, the world’s leadingproducer of screws and tools.
The distribution contract has been extended ahead of time for a further two and a half yearsto end-2014 due to the parcel firm’s successful performance. DPD deliveries some 680,000 parcelswith assembly parts every year to business addresses in Austria for Würth.
“We’re delighted that our cooperation with Würth has been extended ahead of time until 2014,”commented Rainer Schwarz, head of DPD Austria. “The company has been one of our customers since2005.”
Wilhelm Trumler, managing director of Würth in Austria, said that DPD delivers goods onaverage 24 hours after an order has been received. “This is thanks to our internal process and thehigh quality focus of DPD,” he commented.
