USPS enhances online shipping

The US Postal Service has added PayPal as a payment option for its popular Click-N-Ship onlineshipping application.



Customers using Click-N-Ship now can choose to pay for their shipping labels using a creditcard, Bill Me Later, or PayPal.

PayPal is just one of several enhancements added to the US Postal Service’s Click-N-Ship tooland part of a broader redesign of usps.com to make the online shipping and shopping experience moreflexible, the US postal operator said.

“Our customers have told us they would like more payment options when shipping online andthat’s why we are excited to announce we are now accepting PayPal,” said Kelly Sigmon, vicepresident, Channel Access for the US Postal Service.

PayPal is a global e-commerce payment option that allows customers to pay for their purchasesover the internet. Once Click-N-Ship customers have completed their shipping labels and are readyto check out, they simply select the PayPal option.

PayPal allows customers to pay securely, without sharing financial information. The serviceprovides flexibility to pay with multiple options, including PayPal account balances, bankaccounts, credit cards or promotional financing. PayPal is a fast and secure way to pay that fitsperfectly into the US Postal Service’s expanding online strategy to make it easier and moreconvenient for customers to do their postal business anytime, anywhere.
