German-based time:matters, the international expert for global Special Speed Logistics, haslaunched a Europe-wide Harvest Season Weekend Service for customers from the agricultural sector,

just in time for the harvest season.

Harvest time means operating at full speed, the firm explained. There are no days off, farmers and their machines are constantly in use at all times. If one of the extremely expensiveharvesters does break down, then each hour can amount to considerable losses. The appropriate sparepart is required as quickly as possible, regardless of which day of the week it is.

time:matters said the new Harvest Season Weekend Service ships highly urgent spare parts forthe agricultural sector, with constant weekend and holiday availability and around-the-clockcustomer service. In addition, time:matters provides customers maximal flexibility when orderingurgently needed spare parts, through the latest possible pick-up and the earliest delivery times. In the case of orders placed on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays, time-critical spare parts alreadyreach their destination on the following day throughout Europe, which means long delays are avoidedand the harvest can soon proceed.

Stephan Vogel, Director Business & Solution Development at time:matters, comments: “Withour new Harvest Season Weekend Service, we are meeting the current needs of the agriculturalsector. Constant service availability, even at holidays, and quick delivery of spare parts, enableour customers from the agricultural sector to minimise downtimes for their machines, especiallyduring the crucial harvest season, and subsequently avoid significant revenue losses.”
