Fast-growing Asian freight group Kerry Logistics has acquired Trustspeed Medicine Logistics inTaiwan to expand its healthcare logistics activities.
Hong Kong-based Kerry bought the Taiwanese firm through its member company Kerry TJLogistics, which specialises in pharmaceutical logistics and distribution services. The company hasbeen re-branded as TS Logistics.
The acquisition will strengthen Kerry Logistics’ capabilities in the pharmaceutical andhealthcare logistics sector and extend its Asian distribution network in the market.
“This is a major step forward for Kerry Logistics to expand its presence in Taiwan’s dynamicand growing pharmaceutical and healthcare sector. We aim to tap into the huge potential of thismarket by further enhancing our specialty in this area,” said Richard Shen, Chairman, Kerry TJLogistics.
Established in 1997, TS Logistics runs eight distribution hubs in Taiwan with atransportation fleet of 200 vehicles. It provides professional warehousing and speedy distributionof medicines to hospitals and pharmacies, covering daily delivery and urgent order fulfillments aswell as packaging, COD (Cash On Delivery) and mobile advertising services to support its customers’marketing campaigns.
