New-look Star Track launches in Australia

Unveiling the Star Track brand

Star Track, the Australia Post-Qantas express subsidiary, has launched its new brand following themerger of the retail division of Australian air Express and Star Track Express. 



Following the restructuring, Star Track now offers both air and road express services whilefreighter operator Australian air Express (AaE), its sister company, has been re-positioned as anair capacity provider.

The enlarged, re-branded company claims to offers customers the largest network in thecountry. With 57 branch facilities Australia-wide, StarTrack operates a fleet of more than 3,000vehicles and transports more than one million parcels across the country for its customers everyweek.

CEO Stephen Cleary declared: “Our new tagline ’When Service matters’ makes our intentionsclear. It’s not only the greater capacity and network that sets StarTrack apart from the rest – it’s also our commitment to service excellence.”

“At StarTrack we care about service and our people. We know that our people and our serviceculture are why customers love working with us. We will continue to provide a premium service andbe recognised as market leaders in our industry,” he said.

AaE told customers in a message that in future it would focus on its core business of flyingair freight following the transfer of its retail business to the sister company.

In May 2011 joint shareholders Australia Post and Qantas made the decision to integrate StarTrack Express and Australian air Express’s retail door-to-door business, combining the extensiveroad and air freight networks to create the nation’s largest integrated express freight andlogistics operation. The newly formed business was launched under the new StarTrack brand on 30April 2012.
