TNT Express has launched a new range of packaging solutions that were presented at theSustainable Purchasing and Supply Summit in London last week.
The company said the redesigned packaging is ‘simple, safe, and easy to use’ and will includeenvelopes, satchels and corrugated boxes.
The packaging types are globally standardised and highly resistant to damage due to innovativefolding methods and stronger glue. They also provide higher security for customers’ goods as analternative to their own packaging.
In addition, TNT uses less material and ink for its new packaging line thus contributing to theenvironment while reducing production and waste-related costs.
The Sustainable Purchasing and Supply Summit in London focused on sustainable procurement andthe role of the supply chain in more responsible business and government.
