FedEx has been included on the Maplecroft Climate Innovation Leaders Index, a rating of the 360largest U.S. companies, provided by the risk analysis company.
This is the first time FedEx has been listed among the top #100 of the Maplecroft ClimateInnovation Index, moving up 150 positions to #37 on the list of multinational companies.
The Maplecroft Climate Innovation Indices are based on exhaustive studies of the efforts inmanaging and adapting to climate change undertaken by the largest U.S.-based multinationalcompanies.
Companies are rated on more than 100 criteria, including technological innovation and newworking practices to combat climate change impacts, adaption to physical climate-related risks suchas natural disasters, and the reduction of emissions.
