Deutsche Post DHL has been named the 2010-11 “International Partner of the Year” by AIESEC, theworld’s largest youth-run organisation focusing on leadership development.
During the 15-year partnership, DPDHL has provided AIESEC members with more than 1,000internships in its various offices and divisions. The youth-run organisation has more than 60,000members in 110 countries around the world.
In the Americas region, the DHL/ AEISEC internship programme has provided newcomers with anopportunity to gain first-hand experience in a variety of job areas. More than 50% of trainees whocompleted the DHL / AIESEC internship programme have moved on to full time positions within thecompany. Of the interns retained in 2005, more than 50% progressed to a supervisory or managementrole by 2010.
