UPS has scored an award-winning hat-trick by receiving the prestigious United TechnologiesCorporation (UTC) Supplier Gold award for the third year in a row.
The company received the award for excellence in performance in the Logistics and Distributionsegment. UPS said it is the only global transportation and logistics company to receive the highestpossible supplier rating from UTC for three consecutive years.
UPS Supply Chain Solutions has managed Pratt & Whitney’s Georgia Distribution Center locatedin Atlanta since 2004. UPS ships engine parts all over the world for Pratt & Whitney, amaker of commercial and military aircraft engines.
