DHL Supply Chain has signed a three-year logistics agreement with Snabboteket, a new Swedishpharmaceutical company, profiting from the de-regulation of the pharmaceutical market in Sweden and
opportunities for new players on the local market.DHL manages the warehousing of Snabbotekets’s products at its facility in Örebro designed fordelicate pharmaceuticals. It takes care of the packaging and distribution of the products which aresold by Snabboteket. The demand for the products is high, DHL stressed adding that its warehouse inEskilstuna fulfils the rules and regulations in accordance to Good Distribution Practice (GDP),such as accuracy in co-packing and high hygiene demands.
The batch order also needs to be correct, since all packages must be traceable out to thestores. In Eskilstuna, DHL uses a dedicated team for this type of co-packing.
