trans-o-flex ThermoMed, the specialist for temperature-controlled shipments within thetrans-o-flex family, was re-certified with the ISO 9001 healthcare norm and was also honoured for
focusing on specific customer requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.Certified by the BSI Management Systems and Environmental Experts Germany, ThermoMed once againmet the ISO 9001 regulations thanks to its quality management. But it also received for the firsttime the confirmation by auditors that it meets the Good Distribution Practices (GDP) guidelinesfor expanding its quality management to specific demands from the healthcare companies.
Among the locations audited were the company’s two hubs in Kassel and Baunatal as well as thewarehouses in Berlin and Alzenau.
“For us as a specialist for the pharmaceutical and healthcare markets, meeting the GDPguidelines has been a matter of course for many years now”, explained Carsten Glos, ManagingDirector of trans-o-flex ThermoMed GmbH.
ThermoMed’s new certificate is valid for three years. After that period, a completere-certification audit needs to be carried out. In addition, a new audit takes place everyyear.
