Yodel clients streamline processes with NetDespatch shipping application

NetDespatch is helping major British parcel delivery company Yodel to offer advanced on-lineshipping solutions to its clients.

Using the intelligent NetDespatch system integration tools, Yodel clients shipping more than 100consignments each day can select the NetDespatch option which easily integrates their sales orderprocessing and warehouse systems. This enables them to automatically print parcel shipping labelsat any location and track consignments from despatch to delivery using any Internet-enableddevice.

Working with NetDespatch, Yodel is able to provide web-based despatch tools that work seamlesslywith modern warehouse technology. For example a central sales order processing system might directlabels to be printed at a selection of fulfilment houses, or a warehouse operative may scaninternal barcodes to produce labels in real time at point of despatch. This eliminates multipleparcels shipping systems, duplication of data entry, thus reducing costs and speeding the orderthrough for despatch and delivery.

NetDespatch technology also underpins the award-winning CollectPlus collection and returnsservice, with the latter enabling consumers to return items back into stock for resale more easilythan traditional methods.
