Jurgen Gerdes, head of Deutsche Post DHL’s mail and parcel division, said: “The combination ofattractive products and prices and a risk-free payment along with reliable logistics is wellreceived on the market and is attractive both for experienced internet shoppers and for targetgroups with little e-commerce experience.”
Among the retailers offering their products at MeinPaket.de are well-known brands such asTrigema, Design 3000 or Snograd Computer. “This shows that it was the right decision to offer ourcustomers an additional range through a further distribution channel,” stressed Andrej Busch, CEODHL Parcel Germany.
In addition to the full product range, online traders have the possibility of quick specialsales of large stocks changing daily. This way, for example, more than 1,000 branded phones andover 500 games consoles were sold within a few hours.
In addition to the online marketplace, parcel delivery and fulfillment services, the company haslaunched an own online payment system called DHL Checkout this year which is not only integratedinto MeinPaket.de but can be linked to any web shop.
