Indian major express operator Overnite Express has launched a new premium service ‘OvernitePriority’ with an “assured next business-day delivery” and a money-back guarantee.
As part of the service, Overnite Express returns the money back to the customer if the expressshipment does not arrive within the next business day.
“The new service is an outcome of Overnite Express’s in-depth understanding of the client’srequirements and in fact, is in response to the market’s desire for such an assured serviceplatform,” said O. P. Rajgarhia, Chairman and Managing Director of Overnight Express.
Customers using the service will receive delivery notification by SMS. The company has also setup a team of trained executives to track the shipment flow throughout the whole deliveryprocess.
Overnite Express has ambitious expansion plans to create a network of 5,000 branches all overIndia in the next 2-3 years. It plans to focus on services for time-sensitive shipments, mobileexpress, e-commerce and web-based solutions, among others.
The Indian express delivery market is growing by around 25% annually. The service range includesdoor-to-door transport, express delivery of time-definite shipments of documents, samples, parcels,etc.
