Canadian Purolator skates on with Hockey Canada partnership

Canada Post-owned express parcels operator Purolator has been selected by Hockey Canada as itsexclusive courier and freight delivery service provider and official sponsor of five International

Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) championships and six national events.

For the next four years, Purolator will deliver Hockey Canada’s equipment and supplies tochampionships across the country and around the world. At the same time, the brand Purolatorbenefits through the use of trademarks and word marks for advertising and promotional purposes.

Through the partnership, Purolator will sponsor the upcoming 2012 IIHF World Junior Championshiptaking place in Calgary and Edmonton this December/January and the 2013 IIHF Ice Hockey Women’sWorld Championship taking place in Ottawa in April 2013. In addition, it will be the officialsponsor for six national events and national team events hosted by Hockey Canada. These includeTELUS Cup (Canada’s National Midget Championship), RBC Cup (Canada’s National Junior AChampionship), National Women’s Under-18 Championship and Esso Cup, National Female MidgetChampionship.
