Spanish express operator MRW has launched a new, specialised express service for the health andpharmaceutical industry to transport urgent shipments with clinical samples, pharmaceuticals,

surgical and orthopaedic equipment, and provide home deliveries of special medical diets.

Called MRW CLINIC, the new service is primarily designed for laboratories (clinical samples),hospital and health centres (urgent shipments of surgical and orthopaedic equipment) as well as forthe delivery of special food (for patients requiring a special diet at home supplied after stayingat hospital). In addition, MRW CLINIC includes primary emergency services to send material to bedelivered with immediate effects to operating theatres, hospitals, laboratories etc.

MRW CLINIC operates via the company’s network of more than 600 branches spread all over Spain.MRW said it provides, compared to other Spanish companies, later collection and earlier deliverytimes to a large number of destinations. This ensures guaranteed delivery and makes it possible tomake delivery according to special schedules if necessary, depending on the needs of individualcustomers.

For those customers shipping parcels on a daily basis and systematically, MRW CLINIC offers atool allowing them to set up a fixed operation which eliminates the need to place an order everyday thus speeding up their work and saving time.

All MRW CLINIC shipments contain a distinctive label to draw attention to their specialhandling. MRW provides the latest technology to track shipments allowing customers to learn thestatus of their shipments in real time and informing them when it has been picked up ordelivered.
