DHL is sponsoring the 2011 Fashion Week in Mumbai, India, as part of the partnership with India’s famous designers facilitating the delivery processes for the fashion industry in the country.
As part of ‘Future of Fashion’ at Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2011, DHL partnered withIndia’s cutting edge designers including Nachiket Barve, Swapnil Shinde and Shilpa Chavhan.
DHL said the three national designers were inspired by speed as its core brand attribute withwell-balanced, colourful designs keeping in mind future trends to come. While Nachiket Barve mixesinternational look with Indian elements, Swapnil Shinde tries to break new trends and be at thecutting edge of fashion. Shilpa Chavhan follows a vintage trend and transcends it into modernclothes through the usage of various raw materials which juxtapose each other from fabric,trimmings, metal and acrylic.
