Spanish parcel operator MRW has launched a new online service for private customers this summerstarting with a promotion that allows them to send bicycles, suitcases and backpacks at a special
price to anywhere within the Spanish peninsula and Andorra.The new parcel service ‘Yatelollevo.com’ has been launched with the slogan ‘Whatever youwant, to whoever you want, and wherever you want’. The company said that throughout the year,Yatelollevo.com will launch special promotions, varying according to season, celebrations andannounced events.
When ordering from Yatelollevo.com, customers can choose if they want to pick-up theirshipment at the MRW office proposed by the company, or at the nearest office from them. Users cantrack their shipments at all times through a tracking system that shows the status in real time
This month, MRW will start the construction of its new corporate headquarters in the businessdistrict of l’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, scheduled for completion in the second quarter of2012. With a total area of 6,500 sqm, the facility will employ more than 200 staff. The head officeis expected to serve as an example and benchmark for sustainable construction.
MRW handles an average of 40 million shipments per year via more than 1,300 franchisesoperating in Spain, Portugal, Andorra, Gibraltar and Venezuela, and generated €563 million inturnover for 2010.
