FedEx Express recognised as India’s best international logistics provider

FedEx Express has been recognised as India’s Best International Logistics Provider at Frost &Sullivan’s 2011 Voice of the Customer Awards in India.


 
It received the highest ratings from customers across evaluation parameters including timelydelivery, security of material, pickup locations, global network, commitment to providing the verybest in customer experience, and value-added services.
 
FedEx said it had introduced more flights in the region, expanded the country’s domesticexpress service, and launched a series of new services over the past year. FedEx also launchedimport services to offer customers customized door-to-door, customs-cleared, time-definiteservices.
 
Today, FedEx Express has 31 intercontinental dedicated weekly cargo flights that connect keyIndian cities with global trade centers, more than any other express service provider in thecountry. As a result of continuous expansion, it now offers domestic premium express deliveryservices from 58 origins to 331 destination cities across India.
 
As part of the evaluation process at Frost & Sullivan’s Voice of the Customer Awards, theratings attained by each contending Logistics Service Provider (LSP) on evaluation parameters areweighed against the importance assigned by end-users for the respective parameters, with thehighest scoring company named the winner. Each evaluation parameter relevant to the logisticsindustry is weighted according to first-hand research conducted by Frost & Sullivan with localmarket customers.
