UPS mail unit offers tracking information for customers on UPS.com

UPS Mail Innovations is now providing tracking information for its shipments via UPS.com enablingcustomers to track the progress of their packages and mail items.


 
The company’s mail business unit manages the pick-up, processing and sorting of companies’outbound flat mail pieces, bound printed matter and parcels weighing less than 450 grammes, such asbooks, CDs, catalogues and small products. UPS Mail Innovations weighs and sorts the mail piecesand applies the postage before delivering the items to USPS for final delivery.
 
The new UPS Mail Innovations tracking capabilities on UPS.com provide tracking informationfor the mail shipments from the time they are picked up for processing to the point at which UPSMail Innovations hands the pieces over to USPS for final delivery. There is no fee for thistracking capability. Delivery confirmation information is available to customers who select it.UPS.com receives approximately 26.2 million tracking requests per day.
