FedEx Express has won two international awards in recognition of its customer service andoverall performance.
The company won Transport Intelligence’s inaugural International Express Awards 2011 and hasalso been named the Best All Cargo Airline at the Asian Freight & Supply Chain Awards.
UK-based Transport Intelligence carried out an independent electronic survey of parcel shippingdecision makers in early 2011 with 390 users of international express services representing allregions around the world. They were asked to rate express service providers on a range of customerservice and product attributes. To identify the best international express operator overall, theresults were then weighted to reflect the importance of each individual metric to customers.
In addition to the Overall Winner award, FedEx Express also ranked first in the individualcategories for Dedicated Customer Service, Track and Trace Capabilities, Late Cut-Off Times andSecurity.

Separately, FedEx Express has been once again named the Best All Cargo Airline and the Best AirCargo Carrier – North America at 25th Asian Freight & Supply Chain Awards (AFSCAs) organised bythe regional trade publication Cargonews Asia. The annual AFSCAs have been one of themarket-defining awards for the transport and supply chain industry in Asia for more than 20 years.The awards honour leadership as well as consistency in service quality, innovation, customerrelationship management and reliability.

There were 42 award categories in this year’s AFSCAs, covering all aspects of the cargoindustry. The selection of winners was made through a nomination and final voting process involvingextensive Cargonews Asia readers who are key industry decision-makers across the region.
