Austrian Post launches Klick.Brief

Austrian Post has launched a new mail delivery service called Klick.Brief (‘click.letter’ inEnglish) enabling business customers to generate letters online with the postal operator handling

the rest including printing, folding, enveloping, stamping and delivery.

The hybrid service covers all kinds of mail such as offers, invoices and information. To submittheir letters electronically, customers only need the appropriate online application and a printerdriver at no additional cost.

The advantages of the new service, according to Austrian Post, are time and cost savingseliminating the need for manual work, taking letters to a post office and storage space for paperand envelopes.

The costs of the Klick.Brief vary for each business user according to their requirements such astype of printing, volume, weight, additional services etc. The customer can get an overview via aprice calculator at www.post.at/klickbrief which calculates the total costand the postage. Austrian Post makes a concrete offer following the submission of a sample letterand the customer requirements.

Klick.Brief is particularly interesting for small and medium-sized enterprises and ideal forvolumes of more than 50 letters a week. All common formats such as Word, PDF, Powerpoint, Excel,etc. can be submitted. The data transfer is protected through the network architecture of AustrianPost via sFTP servers and firewalls. The regulations of the Data Protection Act and Privacy ofCorrespondence are strictly observed, the company added.
