DHL’s business units recognised with three awards in Asia

DHL team proudly presents three awards

DHL won three awards at the 25th Asian Freight & Supply Chain Awards (AFSCA) in Singaporeyesterday, in the categories Best 3PL, Best Logistics Provider Project Cargo and Best Express

Operator.

The three awards recognise DHL’s long-standing capabilities in integrated logistics,particularly through its express, air and ocean freight forwarding and supply chain operations. DHLhas been named the Best Express Operator for the 24th year in a row since the inception of theAFSCA award.

Chris Bresnahan, head of network operations for DHL Asia Pacific and Emerging Markets (APEM),said: “The award is a testament to the strength of our robust international network. DHL’s growing Industrial Projects business deals with the transport of oversized items, a sectorthat has seen strong growth, as governments and the private sector in Asia continue to invest inkey infrastructural projects and growth sectors like oil and energy and telecommunications, DHLsaid.

DHL Supply Chain was also honoured with the Best 3PL award for supply chain excellence.
