Customers vote TNT best life sciences provider in Asia

TNT was voted by customers as the “Best Life Science Logistics Service Provider” at the 2011BioPharma Excellence Awards in Singapore.

The BioPharma Excellence Awards, held in conjunction with the 4th Annual BioPharma AsiaConvention 2011, recognise the commitment of companies to improving service excellence in the fieldof life science within Asia.

A healthcare industry case study by TNT in the medtech arena show that TNT’s customized supplychain solutions shortened delivery times by more than eight times. This was achieved through thecentralisation of the company’s inventory in TNT’s Singapore Life Sciences Express Hub. Theproducts were then distributed to 13 countries (in the Asia Pacific region) by a combination ofTNT’s air and road network.

In 2009, TNT became the first express integrator in Singapore to receive the GoodDistribution Practice for Medical Device (GDPMDS) accreditation. Awarded by the Health SciencesAuthority (HSA), this certification recognises the compliant quality standards of TNT’s healthcareservice solutions.
