DHL simplifies shipping with upgraded Import Express Online service

DHL Express claims to have improved its international inbound shipping service Import ExpressWorldwide with a new booking tool enabling customers to manage their import shipments online more

simply and securely.

The operator said the upgraded Import Express Online booking tool provides more options forimporters to accurately prepare shipments with maximum security, speed and visibility.

It claimed the benefits of Import Express Online include a simple and user-friendly navigationsystem, accurate transit-time and rate-quote calculations, piece-level shipment preparation andtracking visibility. The tool allows importers to attach documents to the shipment instructions andprovide shippers at origin with standing authorisations and enables users to copy and paste addressbooks to or from other shipping applications.

The improved online booking tool expands the benefits available to customers importing with DHLImport Express Worldwide, the company’s B2B and door-to-door inbound delivery service for documentsand packages from almost anywhere in the world. The service provides time-sensitive deliveryoptions that promise a pre-9.00 or pre-12.00 delivery time for inbound shipments
