DHL Express France has simplified its deliveries with new services combining packaging andtransportation under the name ‘Ready to go’ (‘prêts à partir’).
The two new services, “DHL Express Easy” and “DHL Express Envelope”, respond to the growinginternational trade by simplifying delivery, the company said. These ‘all in one’ services havebeen designed to cover all customer needs and meet their expectations for speed, reliability andconfidentiality. They include online tracking tools accessible via computer or mobile phone forcustomers to be informed about every delivery stage in real time.
DHL Express Easy includes a wide range of sustainable packaging which is 100% recycled andrecyclable to simplify deliveries for shipments weighing between 500g and 25kg. Very practical andeasy to use, DHL Express Easy is composed of 8 packaging portfolios subdivided into 15 differentmodels. Each portfolio corresponds to a maximum weight and is available, for some cases, indifferent shapes including boxes, tubes and special packaging bottles.
Frédéric Maille, head of products at DHL Express France, explained: “We designed this newservice ‘Ready to go’ to simplify express shipping in larger volumes. Whatever the selecteddestination, the customer will surely benefit from the appropriate packaging which is in line withall current regulations.
“The customers profit from the DHL Express expertise which also takes care of allcustomer-related procedures if necessary. In addition, the shipper can make use of late workingtimes handing in the shipments until 8 pm to be dispatched the same day. Another advantage of DHLExpress is its eco-friendly packaging,” he added.
The other new product, DHL Express Envelope, provides door-to-door delivery for documentsweighing less than 250 g anywhere in the world. DHL stressed that even in a time ofdematerialisation some original paper documents are required such as software licenses, reports ofclinical trials, user manuals, tenders, contracts, etc.
Comprising envelops for a flat rate fee, DHL Express Envelope thus simplifies delivery ofimportant, and in many cases, confidential shipments. The documents delivered with DHL ExpressEnvelope, usually in the A4 format with a maximum of 24 pages, are delivered the next day withinFrance and within Europe and within 3 days anywhere else in the world. This service with a simplepricing is an effective way for companies to get closer to their customers, partners and employeesspread around the world, DHL France said.
“DHL Express Envelope perfectly meets the needs of professionals who need to send urgent andconfidential documents to the other end of the world that cannot be dematerialised in order tomaintain legal value,” Maille added.
