Lars Idermark succeeds Lars Nordström as Posten Norden CEO

Lars Nordström is stepping down as CEO of Posten Norden after the successful merger of theSwedish and Danish national postal operators and will be replaced by Lars Idermark, it was

announced today.

Nordström took up the position of President and Group CEO upon the formation of Posten Norden inthe summer of 2009. He had previously served as Group CEO of the Swedish Posten AB forapproximately one year, where he was also responsible for overseeing the merger and the formationof Posten Norden. He will leave the position at the end of this year.

Posten Norden board chairman Fritz H. Schur said: “With his extensive experience and untiringcommitment, Lars G. Nordström has done a splendid job implementing the merger of two nationalpostal groups and establishing Posten Norden while countering the effects of the economic crisis.He is stepping down in complete accordance with our previous agreement.”

The Posten Norden Board of Directors has appointed Lars Idermark as the new President and GroupCEO with effect from January 2011. The 53-year-old is currently President and CEO of the SwedishCooperative Union (KF).

“With Lars Idermark, we have succeeded in recruiting a person who possesses the optimalexperience and background to lead Posten Norden. Mr Idermark has a genuine business and financialbackground, with experience from social sectors. This background, combined with his drive and focuson results, gives him the ideal qualities to lead Posten Norden,” Schur commented.

Idermark previously served as CEO of the Second Swedish National Pension Fund, Deputy Group CEOof the Capio healthcare group, and Deputy CEO of Föreningssparbanken (Cooperative Savings Bank) andFöreningsbanken (Cooperative Bank). Mr Idermark has an extensive background from the agriculturalcooperative, where his previous positions include that of CEO of LRF Holding. He has also served asChairman of Swedbank’s board of directors since last spring.
